Spider Lake Vacation Rentals

Our seasonal log cabins are built on beautiful Spider Lake near Traverse City, MI. Spider Lake is a 450-acre all sports lake with a regulated quiet time in the morning and evening for those that want to fish or just sit back and enjoy the views.

In addition to the main house at Oaks Resort, we have three separate, very clean and private Bellaire style cabins. Each cabin has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen with dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils and a sofa sleeper. There are three docks for boats, four kayaks, row boat, stand-up paddle board and a pedal boat for use by our guests. Oaks Resort is the perfect destination for your summer family vacation.
The Traverse City area is full of fun things to do and see. Within minutes, there are canoe rentals, hiking trails, horseback riding and some fantastic golf courses. Boat and jet-ski rentals can be arranged and are available. Day trips to nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes, Interlochen, the increasingly popular Northern Michigan Wine Country (Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas), day trips to Mackinac Island, Suttons Bay and Leland (Fishtown) are also family favorites.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at The Oaks Resort. It is secluded enough that you can relax and enjoy privacy in this semi-rustic location, and our cabin had a large-screen TV for days when it rained. You could see a deer grazing, a large snapping turtle sticking his head up near the dock each night, and bluegill easily seen from the dock. A swimming island is visible and accessed nearby, and, of course, there are kayaks, a paddleboard, row boats, and a pedal boat which are all shared among the guests. This is exactly the kind of place we were looking for on Spider Lake, one of my favorite lakes in the Traverse City area. Kathleen was able to answer all of our questions and was very receptive to the needs of the guests. The photos of the cabins are very accurate. What you see is what you get. It's homey, fun, and relaxing. What more could you want?"

"Not only are the cabins beautiful and spacious, the view was incredible. Everything was just as pictured, even better. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable. The owners are very quick to respond if you have questions. And we will definitely be back. You have access to a lot of activities at the cabin, like kayaks, boats, and paddle boats. Just a 10/10 experience."
